WordPress Care

A WordPress care plan is a monthly maintenance retainer covering core, theme and plugin updates, off-site backups, malware scanning, uptime monitoring and performance checks. Updates are applied on a staging copy and tested before going live, so a routine plugin update never takes the site down unnoticed.

Prices shown are starting points. The final cost depends on the size and scope of your project, and we confirm it in writing before any work begins.

Most WordPress sites break for boring reasons. A plugin auto-updates and fights with the theme. PHP gets bumped by the host and a function disappears. An abandoned plugin stops receiving security patches and becomes the way in. None of it announces itself: the site just quietly stops working properly, and you find out when a customer mentions it.

A care plan removes that category of problem. Every update lands on a staging copy first, gets checked against the pages that matter (home, key landing pages, checkout, contact forms) and only then goes live. If something conflicts, we resolve it on staging where nobody can see it, or we hold the update and tell you why.

You get a monthly report that says what was updated, what was found, and what was fixed. If nothing happened, it says that too. The point of the plan is that most months should be dull.

What you actually get

Staging-first updates

A clone of your site where every update is applied and checked before it reaches customers.

Off-site backups

Stored away from your hosting account, so a compromised server does not take the backups with it.

Tested restores

A backup nobody has restored is a guess. We restore to a sandbox quarterly to prove it works.

Monthly report

Plain English: what was updated, what was found, what was fixed, what needs a decision from you.

Questions people actually ask

How much does a WordPress care plan cost in India?

Our plans start at ₹4,000 per month for a standard business site. Sites with WooCommerce, heavy plugin stacks or multisite setups cost more because there is more to test. You get a fixed quote before starting: the price does not move month to month.

Can't I just enable automatic updates?

You can, and for a simple site with few plugins it is often fine. The risk is that auto-updates apply without anyone checking the result. A plugin conflict can break your checkout or contact form and stay broken for weeks. Care plans exist to catch that in the hour it happens, on staging, before customers see it.

What happens if my site gets hacked while on a care plan?

Cleanup is included. We remove the injected code, identify and close the entry point, rotate credentials, and submit for removal from Google's blocklist if you were flagged. We do not charge extra for cleaning up something that happened on our watch.

Do you host the site as well?

No, and that is deliberate. We work with your existing host, which means we can tell you honestly when the hosting is the problem instead of defending our own product. If you do want to move, hosting migration is a separate one-time service.

How quickly do you respond when something breaks?

Site-down issues are picked up by monitoring and worked on immediately. Non-urgent requests are handled within one working day. You get a direct channel, not a ticket queue where you re-explain the problem to a new person each time.

Is content updating included?

Small content edits are included: swapping text, updating a price, adding a blog post. Building new page templates or adding functionality is separate work, quoted before it starts so there are no surprise invoices.

What if I want to cancel?

Cancel any month, no notice period and no exit fee. You keep your backups and we hand over any access we hold. We would rather you stay because the plan is worth it than because leaving is painful.

Do you work with WordPress multisite?

Yes. Multisite networks need more care because one plugin update affects every site in the network, so testing is more involved. Pricing reflects the number of sites and the complexity of the shared plugin stack.
