WooCommerce Care

WooCommerce care is a monthly maintenance plan for WordPress stores. It covers everything a standard WordPress plan does, plus the parts that only matter when you sell: checkout testing after every update, payment gateway verification, order and email flow checks, and monitoring for the silent failures that stop orders reaching you.

Prices shown are starting points. The final cost depends on the size and scope of your project, and we confirm it in writing before any work begins.

A broken WooCommerce store rarely looks broken. The homepage loads, products display, the cart works. What fails is narrower and more expensive: the payment gateway returns customers to a blank page, order confirmation emails stop sending, a shipping rule silently applies the wrong charge, or stock stops syncing and you oversell.

These failures are invisible from the front page, which is why they run for weeks. The first signal is usually a drop in orders that gets blamed on the market, or a customer complaining they were charged twice.

WooCommerce care tests the money path specifically. After every update batch we place a real test order end to end: add to cart, apply a coupon, check shipping calculation, pay through each live gateway, confirm the order appears in admin, confirm the customer email sends and the invoice attaches. If any step fails, the update does not go live.

What you actually get

Monthly test order

A real transaction through every live gateway, refunded after: proof the money path works.

Email deliverability check

Order emails tested against Gmail and Outlook, because a confirmation in spam is a support ticket.

Stock integrity check

Catches sync drift before it turns into an oversell and a refund.

Performance watch

Cart and checkout speed tracked separately: they are the slowest and most valuable pages you own.

How it runs

  1. 01

    Store audit

Gateways, shipping rules, tax config, plugin stack and current order flow documented.

  2. 02

    Baseline

We record what correct looks like, so drift is measurable rather than a matter of opinion.

  3. 03

    Monthly cycle

Staged updates, full checkout test, monitoring running continuously in between.

  4. 04

    Report

Order flow status, what changed, anything that needs your decision.

Questions people actually ask

Why is WooCommerce care more expensive than WordPress care?

Because there is more that can break and more to test. A content site needs its pages checked. A store needs the cart, every payment gateway, shipping calculations, tax rules, invoices and order emails checked: each of which fails independently. The extra cost is the extra testing.

Do you test with real payments?

Yes. Gateway sandboxes routinely pass while live payments fail, usually over credential or webhook differences. We place a genuine low-value order through each live gateway and refund it immediately. It is the only test that actually proves anything.

Can you handle stores with thousands of products?

Yes. Large catalogues mainly change the database and performance work: index maintenance, transient cleanup, and keeping product queries fast. Pricing accounts for catalogue size because the maintenance genuinely takes longer.

What about my abandoned cart and marketing plugins?

They are included in the health checks. Marketing plugins fail quietly more than most: a broken cart recovery sequence costs you revenue every day while showing no error anywhere in the admin.

Will you fix problems caused by a plugin I installed myself?

We will diagnose it and tell you plainly what is happening. Straightforward conflicts get fixed as part of the plan. If the fix means custom development or replacing the plugin, we quote that separately before doing anything.

Do you support WooCommerce subscriptions and memberships?

Yes. Recurring billing needs extra attention because a failed renewal is silent revenue loss: the customer does not complain, they simply stop being charged. We monitor renewal success rates and failed payment handling as part of the plan.
