Local SEO
Local SEO targets the map pack and 'near me' searches. Rankings there depend on three factors Google weighs differently from organic results: relevance of your Business Profile, distance from the searcher, and prominence built through reviews, citations and consistent business information across the web.
Prices shown are starting points. The final cost depends on the size and scope of your project, and we confirm it in writing before any work begins.
The local pack is a separate ranking system from organic results. A site can rank first organically and be invisible in Maps, because the map pack draws primarily on your Google Business Profile, proximity, and prominence signals rather than page content.
Proximity you cannot change. Relevance and prominence you can: complete and correctly categorised profile, consistent name, address and phone across every directory that lists you, a steady flow of genuine reviews, and location pages on your own site that are more than a copy-pasted template with the city swapped.
For multi-location businesses this compounds. Each location needs its own profile and its own page with genuinely distinct content, otherwise the pages compete with each other and none of them rank.

Questions people actually ask
How long does local SEO take to work?
Profile optimisation can move rankings within two to four weeks: it is one of the fastest-responding areas of SEO. Citation cleanup and review building compound over three to six months. Competitive urban categories in Mumbai or Delhi take longer.
Why do I rank in Maps from my office but not from across the city?
Proximity is a major local ranking factor, and it is why a single rank number is misleading. You will almost always rank well close to your address. The real measure is how far out that visibility extends, which is what geo-grid tracking shows.
Do reviews really affect rankings?
Yes, quantity, recency, rating and whether you respond all contribute to prominence. A steady trickle of genuine reviews beats a sudden burst, which looks manufactured. Never buy reviews; Google detects the pattern and filters or suspends the profile.
What is NAP consistency and does it matter?
Name, address and phone number matching exactly everywhere you are listed. It matters because inconsistent data makes Google less confident about your business details, and lower confidence means lower prominence. Old listings with a previous address are a common hidden drag.
Can I do local SEO without a physical address?
Yes, as a service-area business. You hide the address and define the areas you serve. You cannot use a virtual office or coworking address you do not actually operate from: that is a suspension risk, and reinstatement is slow and unpleasant.
How many locations can you handle?
Any number. Multi-location work is priced per location because each needs its own profile management, review handling and page content. Beyond about ten locations we usually recommend bulk management through the Business Profile API.
How do I get into the Google 3-pack?
Proximity, prominence and relevance, in that order. You cannot change where you are, so the work is on the other two: a complete and correctly categorised Business Profile, consistent NAP across directories, a steady flow of reviews, and pages on your own site about the areas you serve.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Profile and citation fixes can move the map pack in four to eight weeks. Competitive city-wide terms take three to six months, because reviews and local links accumulate rather than switch on.
