SMS Campaigns
SMS marketing in India requires DLT registration: the sender ID, entity and message templates must all be registered with a telecom operator before messages can be delivered. Unregistered messages are blocked at the network level.
SMS still has near-universal reach and high open rates, and the compliance layer catches most businesses out. DLT registration for the entity, sender ID and every template is mandatory, and template variations must be registered before use.
We handle registration and build templates with the flexibility to cover your actual message variations, so you are not re-registering every time the wording changes.

Questions people actually ask
What is DLT and do I need it?
Distributed Ledger Technology registration is TRAI's mandatory framework for commercial SMS in India. Without registering your entity, sender ID and templates, messages are blocked by the operators. There is no way around it.
Transactional or promotional SMS?
Transactional covers order updates and OTPs, can be sent to any number including DND-registered ones, and must be genuinely transactional. Promotional requires consent and respects DND. Sending marketing through transactional templates risks losing the registration.
