Search Console & Analytics Setup

Search Console and GA4 setup establishes reliable measurement: verified domain properties, submitted sitemaps, correctly configured conversion events, and reporting that separates organic performance from paid and referral traffic.

Prices shown are starting points. The final cost depends on the size and scope of your project, and we confirm it in writing before any work begins.

Most GA4 installations we inherit measure almost nothing useful. The tag fires, sessions are counted, and no conversion event exists, so there is no way to tell which channel produces revenue. GA4's default events are not enough on their own.

We set up domain-level Search Console properties (not URL-prefix, which fragments the data), submit correct sitemaps, define conversions that map to real business outcomes, and build one dashboard that answers the questions you actually ask.

Questions people actually ask

Why does Search Console show different numbers from GA4?

They measure different things. Search Console counts clicks from Google search results; GA4 counts sessions after the page loads, and loses some to ad blockers, consent refusals and bounced loads. A gap of 10-20% is normal. A gap of 60% means something is broken.

Should I use domain or URL-prefix property in Search Console?

Domain, in almost all cases. It captures every subdomain and both protocols in one place. URL-prefix properties split your data across http, https, www and non-www, which is how sites end up with four properties each showing a quarter of the picture.

How far back does GA4 data go?

Only from when it was set up: GA4 does not backfill. Default retention is two months for exploration data and must be manually raised to fourteen. Changing that setting is the single most valuable thing to do the day you set up GA4.
