Merchant Center Issue Fixes
Merchant Center disapprovals block products from showing in Shopping and free listings. Common causes are invalid GTINs, price or availability mismatches between feed and landing page, missing policy pages, and account-level misrepresentation suspensions that disable the entire account.
Prices shown are starting points. The final cost depends on the size and scope of your project, and we confirm it in writing before any work begins.
Disapprovals are usually treated as a feed problem and are often a store problem. If the feed carries a price above the landing page price, Google flags it, and that specific direction of mismatch passes silently in many plugin setups while quietly losing every Shopping comparison.
GTIN problems are the other frequent cause, particularly on migrated stores where the import filled barcode fields with timestamps or internal IDs. It looks populated in the admin and fails validation, and it breaks the brand-plus-MPN fallback as well.

Questions people actually ask
How long does a suspension appeal take?
Typically one to three weeks, and you generally get one good attempt: repeated failed appeals make things harder. Fixing the underlying cause thoroughly before appealing matters far more than appealing quickly.
My barcodes look filled in but Google rejects them. Why?
Migrated stores frequently have timestamps or internal IDs in the barcode field. They look like data and fail GTIN checksum validation. Worse, because the field is populated, the brand-plus-MPN fallback does not engage either, so the product has no valid identifier at all.
Can I just remove GTINs to stop the errors?
Only if the products genuinely have none, and then you must set the identifier-exists flag correctly. Removing real GTINs to silence errors reduces match quality and eligibility. Fix them rather than hide them.
Why does Google say my price does not match?
Usually the feed sends the regular price while the page shows a sale price, or currency and tax handling differ. On WooCommerce this happens by default in several feed plugins, which map price to the regular price field rather than the active one.
