Image Editing & Optimisation
Image editing and optimisation prepares product images for use: background removal, consistent cropping and sizing, colour correction, compression to modern formats, and systematic filenames that support search.
Prices shown are starting points. The final cost depends on the size and scope of your project, and we confirm it in writing before any work begins.
Unoptimised images are usually the single largest contributor to slow product pages: original camera files served at full resolution to phones that display them at 400 pixels wide.
We process in bulk: backgrounds removed to spec, consistent dimensions, modern formats with fallbacks, and filenames that describe the product rather than reading IMG_4471.
What's included

Questions people actually ask
What image format should I use?
WebP for most cases: substantially smaller than JPEG at equivalent quality with near-universal browser support now. Keep JPEG fallbacks where a platform requires it, and use PNG only where you genuinely need transparency.
How large should product images be?
Large enough to zoom, small enough to load. Around 2000px on the longest side is a good balance for most stores, served responsively so phones receive smaller versions.
