Conversion Tracking Audit
A conversion tracking audit compares your real store orders with what Meta, Google Ads and Google Analytics record, day by day and hour by hour. It shows where orders go missing, where one order is counted two or more times, and why, so you know whether your ad platforms are bidding on real sales before you spend another rupee.
Prices shown are starting points. The final cost depends on the size and scope of your project, and we confirm it in writing before any work begins.
Ask three people in a store what last week's ad sales were and you get three numbers: one from Meta, one from Google Ads and one from Shopify. Usually nobody can say which is right or why they differ, so decisions about budget are made on whichever number looks best.
The audit starts from the only number that cannot be wrong, your store's orders, and checks every platform against it. On one Shopify store, Meta received 114 of 189 orders from the store on the day we looked, while Google Ads had four purchase counters all set as main. One platform saw too little, the other counted too much, and both were bidding on it.
You get a written report in plain language: what each platform receives, what it misses, what it double counts, what is in test mode or sent from an old domain, which properties and tags are duplicates, and what it would take to fix. The audit changes nothing in your accounts.
Case study
A D2C eyewear brand on Shopify
What the audit found
Meta missed about four in ten orders, its server events were in test mode, and an old domain was still sending events to the pixel. Google Ads could count one order up to four times. Three Analytics properties existed and the team did not know which one to trust. The tag manager was mostly paused clutter.
What happened next
The owner approved the fix the next day. Within days every order reached Meta, Google kept one main counter, the Analytics properties were named so the team knows which to use, and the container went from 95 tags to 36.

How our audits work
Free short check
Send us your site and we reply with the top findings for this audit, free, so you can judge whether the full report is worth it.
Full report
Every finding ranked by impact, with the fix and who should do it. The price is fixed before we begin.
Audit completion letter
A dated letter from us stating what we checked, how and the result. It records our work. It is not a certification.
Is there a certificate for this?
No. Nobody certifies tracking. If you need a view on privacy law such as the DPDP Act, that is a lawyer's opinion. Our audit shows exactly what data your site sends and to whom, which is the first thing the lawyer will ask for.
What we need from you
Read access
Meta Events Manager, Google Ads, Analytics and Tag Manager. Read only is enough for the audit.
Store access
A Shopify staff or collaborator account with order read access, so we can count real orders.
Questions people actually ask
Will the audit change anything in my accounts?
No. It is read only. Any fix is quoted separately and only starts on your approval.
How long does it take?
We agree the timeline before we start, once we see how many accounts and properties you have. The work begins the day access arrives.
We are not on Shopify. Can you still audit?
Yes, for WooCommerce and lead generation sites too. The method is the same: start from your real orders or leads and check every platform against them.
Will you tell us our ads do not work?
No. The audit is about whether the numbers are true, not whether the ads are good. True numbers are what let you judge the ads at all.
